DISTANT THUNDER Confirmed For Germany's KEEP IT TRUE III Festival

DISTANT THUNDER, the new band featuring former HELSTAR/DESTINY'S END and current SEVEN WITCHES frontman James Rivera, have been confirmed for Germany's Keep It True III festival, set to be held November 6 in Lauda-Königshofen. In addition to performing several brand-new DISTANT THUNDER originals, the band will play a special HELSTAR set as the event's headliners. The complete list of acts currently scheduled to appear at the festival is as follows:

As previously reported, DISTANT THUNDER are scheduled to release their debut album, "Welcome the End", on May 31 through Germany's Massacre Records. The CD was recorded at Spyder Studio in Houston, Texas and was produced by Rivera's SEVEN WITCHES bandmate Jack Frost. The lineup of DISTANT THUNDER also includes SYMPHONY X bassist Mike LePond, Z-LOT-Z's guitar duo, Gregg Gill and Eric Halpern (also former HELSTAR and DESTINY'S END guitarist),and Rick Ward on drums. In addition to nine new originals, "Welcome the End" also includes a 2004 version of HELSTAR's "Run with the Pack" and ACCEPT's "Restless and Wild". Behind-the-scenes pictures and video clips from the recording of "Welcome the End" have been posted online at this location.
